Terms & Conditions
Last updated: March 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the IslandPass website (islandpass.gr), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
These terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers who access or use the website.
2. Services
IslandPass (islandpass.gr) operates as a modern travel agency and digital guide, providing the following services:
Ferry Ticket Booking: We offer real-time booking and ticketing for all Greek islands, through official integration with ferry companies.
Accommodation Communication Facilitation Service: We offer the ability to submit inquiry requests for selected accommodations, facilitating direct contact with property owners.
Vehicle Rental Communication Facilitation Service: We provide a platform for submitting rental requests for cars and motorcycles, connecting you directly with local providers.
Role of IslandPass: We operate exclusively as intermediaries. For ferry tickets, the transport contract is governed by the terms of the respective company. For accommodation and vehicle rental services, IslandPass facilitates communication, while the final agreement and payment are made entirely and directly between the user and the third-party provider/owner.
3. Bookings & Requests
Ferry tickets are issued in real-time through the Certus booking system. Upon completion of issuance, the terms and conditions of the respective ferry company apply exclusively.
Regarding accommodation and vehicle rentals:
- Submitting a request does not constitute a confirmed booking. IslandPass operates as a communication channel, forwarding your interest to the respective owner/provider.
- Availability and final confirmation depend exclusively on the service provider, who will contact you directly.
- IslandPass does not guarantee the availability of accommodations or vehicles displayed on the website, as their management is handled by third parties.
You are responsible for providing accurate information. Incorrect information may result in the owner being unable to contact you or service refusal by ferry companies.
4. Pricing & Payments
All prices are displayed in EUR and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Ferry Tickets: Prices are set by the ferry companies, and payment is made online at the time of booking through our certified payment provider EveryPay (PCI-DSS compliant). We neither store nor have access to credit/debit card details — card data is handled solely by EveryPay under its own terms and privacy policy.
Accommodation & Vehicle Rentals: Displayed prices are indicative and set by individual providers.
Payment Flow & Commissions: For ferry tickets, payment is collected via EveryPay and settled to IslandPass as the merchant of record; we retain our agreed commission and remit the net amount owed to the respective ferry company. For accommodation and vehicle rental services, we do not collect payments, deposits, or guarantees — the financial transaction and settlement are made entirely and directly between you and the owner/provider, according to the terms you agree upon with them.
Refunds: When a refund is approved for a ferry ticket, it is returned through EveryPay to the card originally charged. Crediting time depends on the card-issuing bank.
Electronic Payment Security: Recognizing the importance of electronic payment security, EveryPay is a licensed Payment Institution by the Bank of Greece (Decision No. 280/3 / 23-7-2018 GG B 3010 / 25-7-2018), and manages securely card payment transactions, in accordance with the regulatory framework of the card transaction security management standard. Everypay is certified in accordance with the PCI DSS compliance standards. All Everypay services are made through secure connections with 256bit SSL certificates. EveryPay also supports the ability to use the 3D Secure service, an additional security token for VISA & MasterCard. The Payer then has to enter his personal secret code to complete the transaction successfully.
5. Cancellations & Modifications
Ferry bookings can be cancelled or modified within 10 minutes of booking for a 100% refund (grace period), provided this is technically supported by the respective ferry company. After the grace period, each company's cancellation policy applies:
- Cancellation fees range from 0% to 75% of the ticket price depending on the company and timing.
- Tickets may be converted to open tickets for future use (12-month validity).
- Some modifications may not be available close to departure time.
Detailed cancellation policies for each company are available on our FAQ page.
Accommodation and vehicle rental cancellation policies are determined exclusively by each individual provider. IslandPass does not participate in the cancellation or refund process for these services.
6. User Accounts
You may create an account to access additional features such as booking history, saved passengers, and saved vehicles. You also have the option to delete your account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Acceptable Use Policy
When using IslandPass, you agree not to:
- Use the inquiry and booking request features to send spam, abusive, threatening, or misleading messages to accommodation owners, vehicle providers, or IslandPass staff.
- Submit fraudulent or fake booking requests, or requests on behalf of another person without their consent.

Ferry Transport: Any route changes, delays, or cancellations due to weather conditions, strikes, or technical issues of the ferry company. Responsibility for trip execution belongs entirely to the respective company.
Third-Party Services (Accommodation & Vehicles): As IslandPass only facilitates initial communication, we bear no responsibility for the quality, condition, safety, or availability of accommodations and vehicles, any withdrawal by the owner, or user no-show.
Contractual Relationship: Accommodation or vehicle booking constitutes an agreement made entirely and directly between the user and the provider. IslandPass is not a contracting party to this relationship and does not mediate in financial disputes.
Content & Information: Although we make every effort for the accuracy of the local guide, we do not guarantee the accuracy of information provided by third parties.
Our liability is limited exclusively to the commission amount we receive for ferry ticket issuance.
